Annual Corned Beef & Cabbage Supper at 1st Congregational
Saturday  March 10  at 5:00 pm
The First Congregational Church UCC in Saugus Center
will host its popular, annual Corned Beef & Cabbage Supper. 
The menu consists of a full boiled dinner, Irish soda bread, drinks, and dessert. 
The cost is a $12 donation.  Tickets can be reserved by calling (781) 233-4555. 
Tickets will also be available at the door. 
Come celebrate an early St. Patrick’s Day
with good food & good fellowship!

The Boston Bruins PJ Drive runs from February 1 to March 15, 2018
The Saugus Public Library has teamed up with the Boston Bruins to participate
in their annual pajama drive to benefit DCF Kids and Cradles to Crayons.
The PJ Drive’s goal is to collect 15,000 pairs of new pajamas for children and
teens in need. The library will be collecting new pairs of pajamas for babies,
children, and teens. If you’d like to donate pajamas for a worthy cause, bring
them to the Saugus Public Library before March 15th.
There is a collection bin located at the Saugus Public Library Children’s Desk.

Poetry Contest! at the Saugus Public Library
Open to Students in Grades 6 –12

Drop your poetry off at the Reference Desk during March and April
You can submit as many poems as you’d like.
Poetry will be judged by the library staff.
Winners will be notified at the beginning of May. 

1st Place - $50 gift card to Uno’s Restaurant & $25 to Revere Showcase Cinema
2nd Place - $25 to the Showcase Cinema in Revere
3rd Place - $25 to Showcase Cinema in Revere
April is National Poetry Month


A “Wall of Fame” is new addition to World Series Park
to honor the generous donors who support WSP
As a result of requests to donate to World Series Park,
a 4' X 8'  “Wall of Fame”
will be erected on the field side of the building. 
This will be a permanent plaque that will list
the names of people who make a minimum donation of $100. 
Donations may be made in honor of others or in memory of loved ones.  

Donations to WSP for inclusion on the Wall of Fame should be sent to:
World Series Park, 8 Holden Avenue, Saugus, MA 01906 
Checks should be made payable to:  World Series Park
Donations may be made thru General Electric Matching Gifts Program.
