New Friends of the Saugus Public Library
A group of people interested in improving the Library building,
programs, services, & collections.
They sponsor activities and provide services which benefit
and stimulate interest in the Saugus Public Library. The New Friends of the Saugus Public Library meet at 6:00 pm
on the first Wednesday of the month (September to June)
in the Library Conference Room. To become a member, fill out the Membership Form
and drop it off or mail it to the Library with your annual membership dues.

Saugus Digital Documents are Accessible
on the Internet Archive an online collection of internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form.
The Archive preserves originals and makes them available at the click of a mouse.
High School Yearbooks, Annual Reports, Lists of Persons, and otherTown Documentsare also available.
The project was Federally funded through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. Scanning was done by the Digital Services Department of the Boston Public Library.
All documents will eventually reside on the Digital Commonwealth.
The Saugus Public Library now has passes to Boston Museums!

Pace Center for Genealogy Research Located in the Reference Room at Saugus Public Library. Ancestry.com and Heritage Quest
are currently available at the Saugus Public Library.
The Ancestry.com genealogy database is not available elsewhere
& limited to use on library computers. This is a terrific way for Saugus residents to research their family history for free.
The Heritage Quest genealogy database is now available from home.
The library is a great resource for job seekers. You can use the library’s computers to send out resumes or look for a job. You will also find information here on resume writing and interviewing techniques.
