The Saugus Veterans Council is comprised of all veterans living in Saugus
and/or any member of a veterans’ organization chartered in the Town of Saugus.
Join the Saugus Veterans Council
If you are a veteran living in Saugus, or if you are a member of the VFW, DAV,
or American Legion in Saugus, then you are a member of the Saugus Veterans Council.
Membership is free and all veterans are encouraged to join. Just attend a meeting
and you are a member. There is no cost and no dues. Your participation is your dues!
Please join your comrades in arms at the next meeting.
The Council meets on the first Monday of each month at 1900 (7:00 pm)
at Saugus American Legion Post 210, 44 Taylor Street in Saugus.
Council functions
Saugus Veterans Council is responsible for parades on Memorial Day and Veteran's Day
as well as annual ceremonies for 9-11, POW/MIA Remembrance Day, Flag Day, etc.
