Supporting Our Troops www.SaugusMilitaryFamilies.org “Saugus Military Families” is a group that supports our troops by sending personalized packages to our troops and providing support to their families here at home.
All Saugus residents are welcome to attend our meetings
held on the first Wednesday of each month
from 7:00 to 9:00 pm

Anyone who would like to donate items to be shipped to the troops
can drop them off at Town Hall, the Senior Center, or at our meetings.
Items needed this month include:
white socks, individually packaged snacks, powdered drink mixes, baby powder, and baby wipes.
Our Activities Include: Personalized care packages to our troops Letter-writing campaign to our troops Participation in local town activities Collaboration with USO Family outreach

Please help us "support our troops". We are currently asking for contributions of any of the following items,
which we will package and send along to our troops.
Drinks: Pre-sweetened instant Kool-aide, Lemonade, Tang, Tea, Coffee, Powdered Gatorade,
Hot Chocolate, or Crystal Light
Condiments: BBQ sauce, hot sauce, honey, ketchup, relish, salt, pepper, jelly or jam packets,
single serve salad dressing.
Toiletries: baby powder, bar soap, body wash, Bounce sheets, Chap Stick, roll-on deodorant,
Q-tips, disposable razors, room fresheners, shampoo, sun block, toilet paper, toothbrushes,
toothpaste, Handi-wipes, moisturizer, Wet-naps, Band-aids, shaving cream, mouthwash,
baby wipes, tooth picks, dental floss, Odor Eaters insoles, feminine hygiene products,
nail files, hand sanitizers, insect repellant.
Medicines and Vitamins: Tylenol, aspirin, Rolaids, Pepto Bismol, Tums, Motrin, Imodium AD,
eye drops, foot powder, cortizone cream, Vitamin C chews and supplements, Neosporin.
Miscellaneous: paper, writing pads, peel 'n seal envelopes, greeting cards, pens (black ink),
ziplock bags, Chilly Willy Neck Coolers, plastic silverware, small paper plates, paper cups,
napkins, mini tissue packs, and A, AA, and AAA batteries.
Fun Stuff: disposable cameras, magazines, paperback books, playing cards, poker chips, dice,
note pads, puzzle books, travel size games, Gameboy, CDs, DVDs, newspapers, yo-yos.
Personal Items: pillows, small hand towels, cotton tube socks, washed and softened bandanas
to shield their faces from sand and sun.
