Fountain of Life Church
held its 2nd annual Women's Health Day Saturday, August 7, 2010
It was a day of fellowship, education, and the word.
We learned how to better care for our bodies that God has blessed us with.
The day started with a light lunch and an opportunity to view the presenters' tables.
We learned what a true portion is and how to make better food choices.
We also learned about the different types of insurance and how to register.
This wonderful day ended with a word of encouragement from Bishop Rubia.
It was a true blessing.
Friday, February 12th, the church held a Valentine's Day Gala Dinner.
It was a night filled with love, fellowship, and great food.
We were blessed that Apostle Cesar Sousa preached on love, dating, and marriage.
Sunday, February 14th, our children performed for the residents at the
Hammersmith Nursing Home. It was an enjoyable afternoon of sharing
God's love through song. After their performance the children gave
Valentine's Day cards and candy to the residents.
The children of FOL church shared their love of song and their love of God
with the residents at The Sunrise Assisted Living Facility.
We spent a beautiful afternoon
sharing God's love and getting to know each other.
The month of December brought a Giving Tree to the church, members
of the church donated hats, gloves, and scarves to a local shelter.
The Fountain of Life Church held its annual seminar
November 26th thru 29th 2009 at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge. It was a weekend of special blessings and anointing.
The church's founders, Apostles Cesar and Rubia Sousa, attended and blessed all
who attended. Pastor Jack Schisler was the guest speaker. At 94 years old, the
pastor and author, preached with the enthusiasm of a man more than half his age.
His messages were both educational and inspiring. Being present at the seminar was
an incredible experience. To see several hundred men and women of all ages worship
the Lord was amazing. The worshipers were as young as twelve and as old as ninety-four.
Everyone who attended were blessed.
