A grade-based Football League affiliated with the North East Conference Youth Football League -
a part of American Youth Football.

Other cities in the League are Lynn, Beverly, Salem, Swampscott, Charlestown,
along with other North East Conference schools.

Girls and Boys in Grades 1 through 8 are encouraged to participate in football
or cheerleading based on their personal preference.

SYFCL is Grade Based.  All participants have the option of attending
Free tutoring programs to help them be better student athletes.

     There are NO Weight Requirements.
All children can participate in a competitive, safe and instructional program.

The SYFCL program is Age Protected.
Children will compete against other children of the same age and level,
adjustments are made based on grade levels, but not weight or size.

Community service programs are another fundamental part of the overall program.
Look for our Saugus YFCL to participate in park and school clean-up and betterment
programs, caring for the elderly, and working with those less fortunate in our community.

Crusaders   Grades 3 & 4

The Truth About Hugging,
According to Dear Abby                                                       The Free Hugs video
abby.jpgHugging is healthy.  It helps the body's immune system, it keeps you healthier, it cures depression,
it reduces stress, it induces sleep, it's invigorating, it's rejuvenating, it has no unpleasnt side
effects, and hugging is nothing less than a miracle drug.
Hugging is all natural.  It is organic, naturally sweet, no pesticides, no preservatives, no artificial
ingredients, and 100% wholesome.
Hugging is practically perfect.  There are no moveable parts, no batteries to wear out, no periodic
check-ups, low energy consumption, high energy yield, inflation-proof, non-fattening, no monthly
payments, no insurance required, theft-proof, non-taxable, non-pollluting, and of course, fully returnable.
