Prankers Pond
Prankers Pond is public property and all are welcome to enjoy the peace and
tranquility of this lovely area.
Rowing and canoeing on the pond are allowed.
Fishing with a valid MA fishing license is allowed.
There is limited parking available.
There are no rangers or lifeguards on site.
No motor boats are allowed on the water.
There is NO SWIMMING allow in this body of water.
Please do not litter.


Prankers Pond is a natural refuge for wildlife, native plants,
and for the people who know where it is.
Directions to Prankers Pond
(at end of Cliff Road in Saugus, Massachusetts)
From Saugus Town Hall take Main Street west towards Route 1
Take first right onto Summer Street to end
Take a left onto Appleton Street to end.
Take a right onto Cliff Road.
Go straight and park at marked area.
Walk along path to cleared picnic area.
SAVE 25th Annual Prankers Pond Day
Saugus Action Volunteers for the Environment will celebrate this natural gem
on Sunday, August 16, 2009 from Noon to 4:00 pm.
(Weather permitting. No rain date.)

Get together with other members, friends and family.
Relax, chat, delight in the scenery,
and enjoy a summer day at Prankers Pond.
SAVE will provide water, juice, and watermelon.
Bring a picnic lunch, lawn chairs and blankets.
