We welcome any ideas folks may have for a fund raiser for the
Senior Center. In 2006, the Friends were asked to give 20% or $9,240.00
towards a new van. The Board of Directors voted 100% to give this money.
This year 2008, we gave not 20% but over 50% for a new van, the cost
was $23,850.
Also the year 2006 we were asked to give $2,350.00 for 5000 File of Life
cards (magnets for your refrigerator). We also gave this amount to “TRIAD”.
Our total since 2006 has been $35,440.00.
