The first semipostal stamp in U.S. history, the Breast Cancer Research
stamp was issued at the White House on July 29, 1998 and features
artwork of a mythical "goddess of the hunt" by Whitney Sherman of
Baltimore.  More then 1 billion breast cancer research stamps have
been sold since its issuance in 1998, with $70.7 million raised for
research. The semipostal breast cancer stamp is now available on line
and at your local post office. A semipostal stamp is a postage stamp issued to raise money and
is sold over and above the cost of postage.  The breast cancer awareness stamp is sold at
.55 cents (over the current 44 cents first-class value).  Seventy percent of the net amount raised
from its sales goes to the National Institutes of Health and 30 percent goes to the Medical
Research Program at the Department of Defense.

It's wondrous what a hug can do; a hug can cheer you when you're blue.
A hug can say, "I love you so, or gee, I hate to see you go".
A hug is, "Welcome back again!" and "Great to see you!" or Where've you been?"
The hug!  There's just no doubt about it, we scarcely could survive without it.
A hug delights and warms and charms.  It must be why God gave us arms.
No need to fret about the store of them.  The more you give, the more there are of them.
So stretch those arms without delay and give someone a hug today!
