Join us on Founder's Day Saturday September 11, 2010

Saugus Public Library Annual Book Sale

in front of the library from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

We are collecting donations of books - children's & adults,
fiction & non-fiction.  The only donations we don't accept
are magazines, textbooks, and encyclopedias.
 

~  Please Note:  from August 31, 2010 thru September 9, 2010
the Friends of the Library Book Sale will be closed
as we prepare for the enormous Founder's Day sale.

The library is offering delivery to homebound Saugonians.
Tell us your favorite author or subject . Whether you like fiction,
history or biography, large print or regular, a library volunteer will
deliver it to you, and return it to the library when you are finished.
You can also request DVDs or audiobooks and can call to make
requests or renew.

in preparation for a program series for children.

Young Adults Services at the Library
High School & Middle School students will find invaluable resources in the Teen Services Area.
The Teen Room is equipped with four public computers complete with Internet access.
The library provides online access to magazine articles, newspapers, encyclopedias, and other
reference books.  The book collection includes fiction, biography, and other non-fiction books.
The Graphic Novel collection is always popular.  A librarian is ready to help with finding materials.
Teen Services teams with the High School and Middle School to provide Summer Reading books



Library Tours
Library tours including computer instruction and/or storytime are available by appointment.

Classroom Visits
The Children's Librarian may also visit your classroom to give instruction on
research techniques, storytime, or you may design a visit to meet your needs.


Do you have a craft skill that you'd like to share with the children of Saugus?
Do you have talent in chess or Scrabble?
If so, Children's Services may be interested in your help.

       from the Saugus Public Schools
       after a 40 year career.




In her honor, the
Saugus Public Library Board of Trustees

Use the on-line Library Catalogue to find and reserve a book

Don’t forget that you can log on to your library account
from the convenience of home to check if the library has
a book or DVD.  You can also reserve or renew material.
All you need is your library card number and PIN number.
If you don’t have a PIN number, stop by the library to request one.


The library is a great resource for job seekers.
You can use the library’s computers to send out resumes or look for a job. 
You will also find information here on resume writing and interviewing techniques.
