the Economic Recovery". A representative from H&R Block will
discuss the tax implications related to this issue, as well as any

This session starts the week of September 22nd
and ends the week of November 17th.
Registration is required for the Toddler and Preschool
Storytimes and preference will be given to Saugus
residents.
Babytime (Ages 3 to 12 months)
Mondays at 1:30pm
Toddler Storytime (Ages 13 months to 2 1/2 years)
Wednesdays at 10:30am
Preschool Storytime (Ages 3 to 5 years)
Fridays at 10:30am

continue our magazine subscriptions for 2008!
The library is also looking for donations to help with buying the
necessary supplies for new book processing and our day-to-day
items. If you have a favorite magazine, or just want to help us with
upkeep, please consider donating the money necessary for a
magazine subscription or office supplies!
Feel free to bring in cash or a check (made out to the Friends of the
Saugus Public Library) the next time you stop in. If you would like

Summer Reading Program:Wild Reads at your Library!
Prizes awarded for the library reading contest.
The winners of the adult and teenage summer reading contests were selected in a drawing at the library on September 2, 2008. The contest ran through July and August. Contestants were free to choose any book and the only requirement was filling out an entry form explaining why they would or would not recommend the book.
Library volunteer Ann McGovern helped Reference Librarian, Mary O'Connell draw the lucky winners. The contest was made possible by generous contributions from library supporters.
Adult Contest Winners:
First Prize: Gift Basket with book light, famous author quotations 2009 Calendar and Barnes & Noble gift card to Frances Palczynski.
