
Take a Kid Fishing Day 2011

at Camp Nihan
Sponsored by Tom’s Bait & Tackle
and Saugus Youth & Recreation
There will be free bait and tackle.
Fishing rods will be available for use, but in limited supply.
You are encouraged to bring your own rod.
The perfect time for parents to introduce their children to fishing without the expense of a license.
The fishing begins at 8:00 am - rain or shine, and staff will be on hand to help.
Children of all ages are invited and should be accompanied by a parent.

Directions - from Rte.1, Saugus take Route 129 West, Walnut Street towards Wakefield.
The entrance to the Camp will be on your left 2/10 of a mile after the first traffic light.
Look for a small green sign.
Continue on the gravel road and park in the first parking lot or as instructed by DCR staff.
Please drive slowly as children may be in the road.
**Massachusetts selects one weekend a year to waive the required fishing license,
to allow families to share the joys of fishing.
No license is required on the weekend of June 4th & 5th
At all other times, the state requires everyone over the age of 15 to obtain a fishing license.
