10:00 to 11:00 am

Please pre-register for all four April classes.

Each Monday in April, Saugus Community Partnership for Children
hosts this special playgroup that will nurture children's social and
playtime skills. The four-week session will also empower parents to
continue these structured playgroups at home. The program is especially
designed for children who are not enrolled in preschool programs.

astrodometurf.jpgThe world's largest zipper zipped the artificial turf together in the Houston Astrodome. 
The turf came in strips 200 feet long & 14 feet wide, bristling with blades 3/8 of an inch high.
Each strip was backed with a thin layer of vinyl foam and weighed about 3,000 pounds.
The strips were cut to size and held together with zippers.
As Milner said, "It was the longest infield fly in the world."
