SAVE (Saugus Action Volunteers for the Environment)
& the Friends of Breakheart Reservation
have joined together to help keep usable items
out of the waste stream.

Bring usable items in good condition to the SWAP,
those things you no longer want that are too good
to throw away. (Please do not bring items that
require special disposal.)

Free event. No money. Simple swap.
You can bring items or leave items,
you do not have to do both.

At the Swap Meet, SAVE will raffle off
a Compost Bin. Be sure to buy a ticket!

We also will participate in the Nike Reuse-A-Shoe
program.
Please bring your worn-out athletic shoes (any brand) to drop into our recycling bin. SAVE will deliver the collected athletic shoes to the Nike Reuse-A-Shoe drop-off location for recycling into materials used to build playground and sports surfaces.

SAVE will have a "mercury drop-off" station at our table for small items such as button cell batteries, hearing aid and watch batteries, thermometers and thermostats, etc.
Recycling these items will help in our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint!
