
Take a Kid Fishing Day 2009

along with Tom's Bait and Tackle
is hosting the annual
"Take a Kid Fishing Day".
Camp Nihan Massachusetts DCR park
is located off Walnut Street in Saugus.
Directions- from Rte.1, Saugus take Route 129 West, Walnut Street towards Wakefield.
The entrance to the Camp will be on your left 2/10ths of a mile after the first traffic light.
Look for a small green sign. Continue on the gravel road and park in the first parking lot or as instructed by DCR staff. Please drive slowly as children may be in the road.
There will be free bait, bobbers, hooks, and of course, fishing advice provided by Tom's Bait and Tackle. Please bring your own fishing rods if you have them.
Children of all ages are invited and for safety sake, should be accompanied by a parent.
There will be refreshments and prizes for the participants.
Massachusetts selects one weekend a year to waive the required fishing license to allow families to share the joys of fishing. No license is required on the weekend of June 6th & 7th. All other times, the state requires everyone over the age of 15 to obtain a fishing license.
