On Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 7:00 pm Paul Beran will give a multimedia presentation on the culture and traditions of Islam.
Paul is the Director of the Outreach Program at Harvard University’s Center for Middle East Studies. The Center was founded in 1954 for the
purpose of furthering the study of the Middle East and offers programs about the Middle East designed to increase understanding of the region.

Paul is a researcher, writer and teacher who has written numerous articles about the Middle East. He has lived in the US, Jerusalem, the West Bank and Cairo, Egypt.
